The pact with Stellantis comes just days after the UAW struck a similar deal with Ford, leaving only GM without an agreement.
The pressure is now on General Motors and Stellantis to reach similar deals, labor experts said.
This should be "Ford and the UAW versus Toyota, Honda and Tesla — and all the Chinese companies that want to enter our home market," Bob Ford said.
UAW President Shawn Fain made an announcement on Friday, sharing the latest bargaining updates in the union's historic strike against the Big Three automakers.
President Biden said the UAW "saved the auto industry back in 2008," and should reap the benefits of profits now.
UAW President Shawn Fain called for additional strikes against all General Motors and Stellantis parts distribution facilities. Workers will strike at 38 locations across 20 states.
"We're not messing around," Union chief Shawn Fain said in setting Friday deadline unless talks progress with Big Three automakers.
Employees at three Ford, GM and Stellantis plants walked off the job Friday and more could join them soon, the UAW said.
The UAW is threatening to have many of its 140,000 members walk off the job at 11:59 p.m. unless Detroit's Big Three automakers and the union agree on new contracts.
About 146,000 U.S. auto workers are set to go on strike this week if General Motors, Ford and Stellantis fail to meet their demands for big pay raises and the restoration of concessions the workers made years ago when the companies were in financial trouble.
