Woman, Six-Year-Old Hurt In Hail Of Bullets Fired At Stockton Home On Thanksgving Day
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Stockton Police are still investigating a Thanksgiving Day shooting that sent a six-year-old girl and a woman to the hospital and left their home riddled with bullets.
The shooting happened just after 7:00 a.m. at a home in the 2100 block of Shimizu Drive. The young girl and 21-year-old woman were sleeping in the family room when the shots rang out.
They were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening wounds.
Police say the suspect or suspects fired multiple rounds from an area near the Smith Canal levee.
The bullets blasted through the front window of the home, the front door and wall. Police say more than 40 bullets hit the home.
Witnesses saw an older model white car leaving the area.
No arrests have been made. The names of the victims have not been released.
