What You Need To Know Before You Head Out To Vote
Millions of people across America will make their voice heard today as they cast their ballot for president.
Before you head out to vote, there are a few things you should keep in mind.
You can't take voting booth selfies. Unfortunately, you'll have to share the fact you voted the old fashioned way: with a sticker. It's a misdemeanor to take your picture inside of a voting booth, and with the number of people waiting to cast their vote, it's not very considerate to make them wait while you get the lighting just right.

In order to keep the lines moving smoothly at the polls, know who you're voting for and which propositions you'll be voting for before you arrive. There are 17 propositions this year, and reading through each one in the booth will slow things down. Election officials estimate voting could take upwards of 10 minutes per person.

Polls remain open until 8 p.m. If you're in line when polls close, don't worry, you still have the right to cast your vote.
