UPDATE: Vehicle Driven Into Sacramento River Had Been Stolen
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A vehicle that was driven into the Sacramento River in West Sacramento on Tuesday had been reported stolen in Elk Grove.
West Sacramento Fire Department responded to the incident at 11:30 a.m. after a witness reported seeing the vehicle in the water. It was unknown at that time if anyone was in the vehicle.
It was later determined the vehicle had been stolen.
