Two Arrested For December Murder In Modesto

MODESTO (CBS13) – Investigators have arrested two men in the shooting death of a Patterson resident last month.

The Modesto Police Department said detectives identified 26-year-old Juan Manual Tello Jr. and 25-year-old Alexander Hernandez Lopez as the two men arrested Wednesday for the murder of 38-year-old Robert Ruvalcaba on December 16.

Authroities said Ruvalcaba was found dead in an alley near Martin Luther King Drive and Linden Street after suffering at least one gunshot wound.

The motive for the alleged crime has not been determined and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

Both suspects are being held at the Stanislaus County Jail.
