Two-Alarm Fire Damages Building At Gallo Winery In Modesto
MODESTO (CBS13) - A two-alarm fire broke out Tuesday morning on the property of the Gallo Winery in Modesto and investigators are still trying to determine what caused it.
The fire at an abandoned home at 516 Santa Rita Avenue was first reported around 5:45 am.
Downed power lines were throwing sparks and flames were shooting from the home when fire fighters arrived.
It took fire fighters from the Stanislaus Consolidated Protection District less than an hour to douse the blaze.
No one was hurt in the fire nor was the winery itself.
Fire fighters are still trying to determine what sparked the fire.
