Three People Shot During Party At Stockton Home
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Stockton Police are looking for clues and suspects after three people were shot during a party at a Stockton home late Wednesday night.
Officers were called to a home in the 2600 block of Warren Avenue in the Civic Center District just before 11 p.m.
They arrived to find a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The man had been shot in the lower body and the woman had several "grazing" gunshot wounds.
Later, another man, 21, arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his back. He is also expected to survive.
Police say there were very few guests left at the party by the time they arrived and that none of the witnesses were fully cooperating with the investigation. However, officers were able to determine that a dark-colored Toyota Camry with two people inside drove by the party and began shooting at guests who were in front of the home.
Witnesses say several people in the front yard fired back.
It appears no one else was hurt. Officers say that despite the shootout, neighboring homes were not struck by the gunfire.
