Thousands Of SMUD Customers Lose Power In Downtown Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Thousands of people were left without power in a major outage Friday in Downtown Sacramento.
Around 12:30 p.m., the utility showed that over 6,700 customers didn't have power. A few minutes later, the outage had shrunk to Around 2,00 customers without power.
Street lights were also affected by the outage, according to a tweet from the Sacramento Fire Department.
