THE LIST- Favorite NFL Announcing Teams
Today's LIST is quite simple, our preferences for those calling the NFL games on television. We picked our favorite broadcast teams that describe the action each and every week.
Nate's LIST:
- Michaels/Collinsworth- Football Night in America is great for a lot of reasons but Nate loves it for the guys in the booth. Simply put the two have a great chemistry and share their love for the game with the viewing audience
- Buck/Aikman- Nate likes Fox's #1 crew and appreciates Buck's understated calls of the game. Aikman provided the appropriate insight and the two have worked well together.
- Eagle/Fouts- Always a sucker for a good nickname, Nate likes the "bird and the beard". The tandem has found their groove and keeps working their way up the ladder.
Jason's LIST:
- Michaels/Collinsworth- I too picked these guys. I have always loved Al Michaels and I think that he is one of the all time great broadcasters. Collinsworth can irritate some but I have always enjoyed his analyst work.
- Buck/Aikman- On the show we get more "hate" towards Joe Buck then just about any one else. I don't know why? I think he is very skilled at his craft and it doesn't hurt that Aikman was one of my all time favorite UCLA Bruins. I really enjoy these two.
- Tirico/Gruden- Where else are you going to get "spider 2 Y banana". That is a Gruden specialty. He cracks me up. He becomes a little bit like a cartoon character at times but I always learn something from him. Look up professional in the dictionary and I think you might see a picture of Mike Tirico. Great combo.
