The Don Geronimo Show - March 14, 2012

Today, Don begins with a clip from yesterday, in which Dave was doing a live read for Bisla's, but Slow Joe had forgotten to turn on the microphone. Don then reminds everybody of the big St. Patrick's Day show on Friday, in which we'll be broadcasting live at the Boxing Donkey in Roseville. After the guys talk about how bad the Kings sucked last night, Don tells us that Tide detergent is the most shoplifted grocery store item, as junkies lift them from the shelves, and then sell it on the streets for drug money.

Don then calls in Ron and Billy from promotions, who will once again be giving away Kings tickets for Friday night. Don decides to send them out to Folsom Lake Bowl in Folsom, and also asks them to steal some Tide on the way out. After hearing a clip from last year, of a police video in which Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward gets arrested for DUI, and tells the cops he's worried about it leaking to ESPN, Don plays us music from iTunes with the Siri app speaking the lyrics. We also hear about Donald Trump's sons shooting animals in Africa, and a guy who plays "Over The Rainbow" with stuffed cats.

We then get a visit from Don's old friend, ex-NFL great Joe Theismann. Joe talks about where he thinks Peyton Manning will go, the existence of bounties in the NFL, and his thoughts on Randy Moss going to San Francisco. He also calls a new play for Craig to draw up! Ron and Billy then call in from Folsom Lake Bowl, and Don talks to the lucky listeners who will join us at the Kings game Friday. After hearing Jessica Simpson say that she's hornier than ever, and John Ramsey say he hates "Toddlers and Tiara's," legendary game show host Bob Eubanks stops by. Bob, who will be hosting the "World's Greatest Game Shows Ever" show at Cache Creek on March 31, talks about all the game shows he's hosted, and seeing the reruns on the Game Show Network now. He also elaborates on the "In the butt" story.

After finding out that Slow Joe hasn't been laid since he came out to California, it's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom talks about Lindsay Lohan's possible hit and run with her new Porsche, last week's TV ratings, Bear Grills getting fired from the Discovery Channel, and the only 10 men to appear on the cover of Playboy. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
