The Don Geronimo Show - March 13, 2012

Don begins the day by telling us that Craig's brother, Chris, is here, and they've written a song for Peyton Manning, in light of all the different radio stations doing parody songs, trying to lure Peyton to their towns. Craig and Chris' try to get Peyton to come to San Francisco with a song set to the music of the Allman Bros. "Sweet Melissa." We also find out that our friend, Lindsey Pavao, made it to the next round on "The Voice" last night. Don also gives Kentucky Charlie a call again this morning, as Charlie's already dropped another 20 texts a half hour into the show.

Don then calls in Ron and Billy from promotions, and sends them to Popeye's Chicken in South Sac to give away tickets for this Friday's Kings game. We then hear the video of Marie Osmond peeing her pants onstage, before reading a list of the top 100 most vulgar slang words. After getting through about half of the list, Billy calls in from Popeye's in South Sac, and Don talks to the lucky listeners who won tickets. We also hear a Tampa Bay disc jockey refer two 3 NFL players as "monkeys," Chuck Norris' endorsement of Newt Gingrich, and a ukulele orchestra in the U.K. with their rendition of "Shaft."

We then get a visit from Roy, for another edition of LaRoy's World of Gay. This time, Roy brings his lovely friend Olivia, and they talk about why Olivia hates Dave, the sex toys Jodi Bacon offered Roy, Olivia's new internet radio show, and what you would call a guy who's really into Jews. It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom tells us about ABC's new singing show, "Duets," McDonalds adjusting their Dollar Menu, and 10 depressing facts about music. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
