The Don Geronimo Show - June 6, 2012
Don starts the day by telling us that the pod is gone from his driveway, but the HOA has still charged him $15. We also hear that Janet was at Thunder Valley yesterday for over 3 hours! Craig gives us an update on his waxed area, and tells us about his post-show conversation with his girlfriend Paris about Bipolar Mary and Nicole the waxer. We then hear about Little Joe's training for his fight against Blind Neal next week, and the blind sparring he did in his kitchen last night. We also hear about loyal listener Star getting us another ring girl: a fitness model from Florida named Andrea, who is in Maxim's Hot 100, and will be in town that week.
After hearing that Jerry Sandusky wrote love letters to some of his victims, which leads to Don's "levels of Heaven and Hell," and "God's 'People's Court,'" we get a visit from Blind Neal, who continues his trash talk about fighting Little Joe next week. Don also calls Mark from Uppercut Promotions to talk about the card on Thursday, June 14th. The guys then talk about what they would be most curious to see at their own funeral, and Don calls Steve Bryant to see how far along he is on his trip to Sacramento. They then hear clips from the Queen of England's Diamond Jubilee, and talk about which British rock stars have had their stomachs pumped.
It's then time to play "$10 Pyramid." Today, Phantom and Craig play on one team, and the two Joes on the other. Among the categories: "All About Don," "Superheroes," "Reality Shows," and "Bipolar Mary." It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom talks about the passing of Author Ray Bradbury at 91, Charlie Sheen admitting he wasn't really "winning," Dish Network's feud with AMC, and Miss Pennsylvania saying that the Miss U.S.A. Pageant was fixed. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
