The Don Geronimo Show - April 2, 2012
Today, the whole gang is back from vacation, and Don has all kinds of stories from his trip to Hawaii! He starts off with a girl at the pool who was falling out of her swimsuit top, that Janet actually pointed out to him! We then hear about the jealous girl who yelled at her boyfriend for talking to Janet, meeting Dog The Bounty Hunter, the numerous anniversary dinners Don and Janet had, the headboard of their bed breaking, and the night Don was talking in his sleep, which leads him to tell the story of the time he jumped off his balcony while sleepwalking. Ron and Billy from promotions stop by, because they'll be giving away tickets to Thursday night's Kings game, and we find out that Billy may have knocked up a girl a month ago. At Phantom's suggestion, Don decides the best place to send the guys is to Planned Parenthood in South Sac, to give away the tickets.
After hearing about how Don managed to snake a few free drinks by claiming he was "Mike, the insurance salesman from Des Moines," Little Joe tells us about the little girl who crapped in the pool he was swimming in while on vacation with his family. We also see a music video by the "Jacuzzi Boys," that have "vagina puppets" singing the lyrics to the song. We then get a call from Billy and Ron, who have arrived at the Planned Parenthood, and Don talks to the lucky listeners who have arrived for the free tickets. We also find out that in two weeks Dave's show will be replaced by The Dan Patrick Show, as it had always been planned to have Dan Patrick in the lineup, but due to contractual obligations, Dave filled in for the past 8 months.
After Don tells us that his son Bart turned 27 over the weekend, we hear more Hawaii stories, including seeing giant turtles with his friend Jerry, going to a movie party that had an obnoxious fat lady who would flip out every time Matthew McConaughey was on the screen, and the BS they had to deal with from the TSA's. We also hear that NBC doctored up the George Zimmerman 911 call, the Jacuzzi Boys video again, Chevy Chase's nasty voice mail to a "Community" writer, and an ad for Depend Undergarments starring NFL players Wes Welker, DeMarcus Ware, and Clay Matthews.
It's then time for the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom tells us that Adam Sandler's "Jack And Jill" movie swept the Razzies. We also hear the box office numbers for the past weekend, and Burger King is making their biggest menu expansion since they started in 1954. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
