Teen Killed In Sac County Shooting

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A teen boy was killed and a teen girl was wounded after a shooting in the Arden-Arcade area early Saturday morning.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department said the deputies found two injured teens on Wittkop Way near Clinton Road after the shooting was reported just after 2:00 a.m.

The teens had been walking on Wittkop Way when a suspect got out of a vehicle and opened fire.

A 15-year-old male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and a female victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the foot, authorities said. The male victim died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
