Suspect Arrested In Multiple Bank Robberies
RIVERBANK (CBS13) – A man arrested in connection with a bank robbery in Riverbank is also wanted in connection with multiple hold-ups from Bakersfield to Paso Robles, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department.
Police arrested 32-year-old Nicholas Lamb of Fresno in connection with a robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank in Riverbank on February 17.
Riverbank Police identified Lamb as the suspect after a teller at the bank followed him to his get away car and wrote down the license plate number.
While investigating, detectives learned that Lamb was a suspect in several other bank robberies from Bakersfield to Paso Robles and was wanted by Modesto Police and Patterson Police.
Fresno Police located and arrested Lamb on Saturday, Feb. 25 on warrants issued by Riverbank and Patterson police departments. Lamb has been transported to Stanislaus County and booked into the county jail on six counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery. He's being held on $200,000 bail.
