Suspect Arrested After Alleged Dollar Tree Store Break-In
MODESTO (CBS13) - A suspect has been caught after allegedly robbing a Dollar Tree store in Modesto and leading police on a short chase, according to authorities.
A man tried to take cash from the register at the store on Standiford Avenue and Carver Road just after 9:00 last night, as reported in the Modesto Bee.
The suspect's car was later spotted on Chrysler Drive west of Prescott Road.
He jumped from the car and led officers on a foot chase but was tracked down nearby.
A patrol car was hit in the pursuit, but no injuries were reported.
