Stockton Woman Accused Of Killing 3-Year-Old Makes Court Appearance

STOCKTON (CBS13) -- The woman accused of killing a 3-year-old boy in downtown Stockton was in court Friday but did not enter a plea.

Aushua McDuff-Brown is charged with murder for allegedly trying to hit another woman with her car.

She ended up hitting 3-year-old Ruben Ramirez instead and died as a result of his injuries.

Friday in court the judge ordered Ramirez's family to stop wearing shirts with his face on it. The judge said he was concerned the shirt might lead to more tension between the victim's family and supporters of McDuff-Brown.
