Stockton Police Standoff Forces Evacuations, Street Closures
STOCKTON (CBS13) — Police have shut down several streets in Stockton during a standoff near San Joaquin Delta College after a report of shots fired.
The area near Pershing Avenue and Venetian Drive has been shut down.
Investigators believe they have the suspect pinned down at the scene and are using a loudspeaker to communicate with the man and get him to surrender.
Several homes have also been evacuated.
