Stockton Man Dies In Tahoe Snowmobile Crash
TAHOE CITY, Calif. (AP) — A 55-year-old man from Stockton, Calif., has died after a snowmobiling accident north of Tahoe City.
The California Highway Patrol said Tuesday that the man was riding a Skidoo snowmobile Saturday on at trail near Mt. Watson Road when he turned, veered off the trail and hit a tree.
Highway patrol troopers say they were called about 4 p.m. Saturday. They are still investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The man's name has not yet been released.
