Stockton Apartment Complex Evacuated In Standoff
STOCKTON (CBS13) — An apartment complex was evacuated after police received information suspects from a robbery earlier in the day were inside.
A nearly two-hour standoff ensued before a man and woman surrendered at the complex at Sierra Nevada and Poplar Streets.
Stockton Police say it started this afternoon after a man claimed he was kidnapped by two black men and taken to a Wells Fargo bank to withdraw cash. Employees felt something was wrong and called 911.
The suspects fled the scene.
