Pregnant Mother, 5-Year-Old Hurt In South Sacramento Shooting
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Two people are in serious condition after a late night shooting in Sacramento, authorities say.
Police tell us the shooting happened on 73rd Street near 17th Avenue on Sunday.
The victims then drove themselves to Lacam Circle, nearly a mile away. Sacramento police later confirmed that the two people hurt were a pregnant mother and a five-year-old boy.
Both victims are alive and are recovering.
Police are now searching for a suspect and investigating a motive for the shooting.
