Search On For Vandals Who Targeted Orangevale Church

ORANGEVALE (CBS13) – Deputies in Orangevale are trying to find the people responsible for vandalizing a church.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department says swastikas and vulgarities were found on Calvary Chapel along Walnut Avenue. A person driving by the church around 8:45 a.m. Saturday spotted the red graffiti and reported it to deputies.

Crime Scene Investigators are processing fingerprints.

Parishioners and a commercial painter later helped paint over the graffiti once deputies had processed the scene.
