Sacramento Teen Bitten By Pit Bull

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A teenager was taken to the hospital after he was bitten in the hand by a pit bull in Sacramento on Friday morning.

The incident happened in the 7800 block of Lemon Hill Avenue near Power Inn Road after two pit bulls broke down a fence and got out of their owner's yard.

Police say the 17-year-old was walking down the street with his dog when he was bitten by at least one of the dogs.

The teen was taken to Kaiser South, treated and released.

The dogs are licensed and legal, according to their owner. Animal Control was called out to the scene.
