Sacramento River Cats Need 14 Innings To Set Franchise Record For Winning Streak
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The Sacramento River Cats didn't set a franchise record for their longest winning streak on Thursday.
They had to wait until Friday to win their 11th straight game, 4-3 over the New Orleans Zephyrs in 14 innings.
Brandon Hicks drove in Mac Williamson in the bottom of the 14th with two outs after a Hector Sanchez bunt.
The River Cats' surge has the team just one game shy of .500 at 62-63.
