Fire erupts in garage of Roseville home in Pleasant Grove neighborhood
ROSEVILLE – A Roseville resident and their dogs escaped safely after a fire erupted in the garage of their home late Thursday morning, firefighters say.
The Roseville Fire Department says, a little after 11 a.m., firefighters responded to the Pleasant Grove neighborhood and found smoke coming from the garage of a home.
Everyone inside the home, including the homeowner's dogs, had escaped to the backyard.
Firefighters jumped into action and stopped the flames from spreading outside of the garage.
Still, firefighters say the inside of the home saw some light smoke damage.
No injuries were reported, the fire department says.
Exactly what started the fire is under investigation.
