STOCKTON (CBS13) — Crews along the Delta continued the search for possibly two more bodies from a fatal accident west of Stockton.

An SUV carrying as many as eight people went into the water Sunday morning near North Bacon Island Road and Lower Jones Track Road. One of the two survivors of the Delta accident said they were going fishing, however no fishing gear has been found.

"At this time we don't know whether or not alcoholic drugs were a factor," said CHP Sgt. Jason Bartlett.

Three bodies have been recovered from the water. Sheriff river teams are using a method known as dragging in hopes of finding two -- possibly three -- other bodies in the water.

All of the passengers were from Santa Rosa.
