Ripon Police Bust Counterfeit Credit Card Ring At Ripon Motel

RIPON (CBS13) – Ripon police say three people have been arrested in a credit card fraud ring operating out of a Ripon motel where officers also found drugs and a small child.

Police say they were conducting a probation search at the Ripon Motel when they found a room with counterfeit credit cards, computers, lists of credit card numbers and more.

Officers also discovered methamphetamine and marijuana paraphernalia in the room and a two-year-old child.

Police arrested Brandon Villanueva, 41, Barbara Fernandes, 42, and Megan Alvarado, 22, all of Manteca.

All three were arrested for conspiracy, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, and possession of counterfeit credit cards.

Villanueva and Fernandes are also facing charges of manufacturing of counterfeit credit cards.
