Southbound Highway 99 closed near Ripon after crash involving coach bus
A crash has all lanes of southbound Highway 99 blocked in the Ripon area of San Joaquin County Thursday morning.
The crash happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. near Jack Tone Road. Exactly what led up to it is unclear.
A coach bus appears to be among the vehicles involved. Officials said only minor injuries were reported, with one person from the bus taken to the hospital.
There is no estimated time for the freeway to reopen.
