Records Show 6-Year-Old Found Burned In Field Had CPS Case History Since Birth
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The 6-year-old girl whose burned body was found in Glenn County last month had a case history with Child Protective Services.
According to Jadianna Larsen's CPS file, she was born premature to homeless parents and received very little prenatal care. She was put into protective custody a birth and stayed under state care until she was nearly 2 and a half years old.
In her lifetime, nine separate CPS reports were filed. Of those, only three were substantiated, all for neglect.
One of those reports said the person responsible for her was spotted looking at pornography on a computer with the then-3-year-old Larsen seeing it as well.
The other calls came after Jadianna was seen alone, with no adult present.
Her mother's boyfriend is accused of her murder, while his mother is charged with accessory after the fact.
