Police: Suspect Tried To Steal Barge From Sacramento Marina
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A man was arrested after police say he tried to steal a barge from a marina at Miller Park.
Bruce Klair, 23, was restrained by a city employee who police say saw him taking off with the barge.
The employee tracked down barge on a separate boat, then tried stopping Klair. That's when police say things got violent, when the employee allegedly was dunked under the water several times during the struggle.
A park unit was able to get to the barge and help restrain Klair, who has been booked for assault and vessel theft.
