Police: Man Wanted In Brutal Attack Of Own Mother In Stockton

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police are searching for a man suspected of brutally attacking his own elderly mother in Stockton Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened at an apartment complex along the 7300 block of North Pacific Avenue.

Officers say the man – 55-year-old Randy Francis – and another man had shown up at the apartment around 2 p.m. Both men entered the apartment, but that's when the other man says Francis attacked him, tied him up and took his car keys.

Francis was then allegedly seen going into his 86-year-old mother's room, violently attacking her and leaving her clinging to life.

He then left in the other man's truck – a 2004 Chevy Silverado with the license plate number 7N29539 – and has not been located by police.

Francis' mother has been taken to the hospital, but police say she is not expected to survive her injuries.
