Placerville Mayor Accused Of Perjury And Conspiracy Due In Court
PLACERVILLE (CBS13) – An El Dorado County mayor charged with perjury and conspiracy is scheduled to be in court today.
Placerville Mayor David Machado is accused of voting in favor of a redevelopment zone, while not disclosing that he had a financial interest in the project.
He is also accused of destroying and concealing evidence after a fire broke out at one of the buildings involved in the project.
