Pizza Delivery Man Robbed In Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A pizza delivery man was robbed of pizza pies, his belongings and his vehicle in Sacramento on Monday night.
The victim was delivering pizza to an apartment in the 3100 block of Howe Avenue at about 9:15 p.m. when he was assaulted by a man with a gun, according to police. The suspect took the pizza, the delivery person's wallet and phone and left in his vehicle.
An officer located the vehicle, but the driver immediately crashed and two occupants fled. One occupant was captured and ultimately identified as the robber.
The suspect, 22-year-old Jerry Twotuff Adams, was booked into county jail on charges of violation of parole, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery and carjacking. The victim's property was not recovered and the investigation is in progress, police said.
