Police: Pipe Bomb Detonated At Citrus Heights Bus Stop
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) — Police have confirmed a pipe bomb was discovered at a bus stop in Citrus Heights.
The 6000 block of Auburn Boulevard between Manzanita and Greenback Road was shut down because of a report of a suspicious device until just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday night.
The device was found by someone nearby who called 911.
The bomb squad detonated the bomb.
Some residents in nearby apartments were evacuated.
