One Dead, Two Injured In Modesto Bar Stabbing

MODESTO (CBS13) -- A 35-year-old man has succumbed to his injuries after a brutal stabbing that occurred early Saturday morning in Modesto's Shadow Lounge.

He was pronounced dead at an area hospital after being transported from the lounge.

Police responded to a call for at the lounge around 12:15 p.m.  to find two victims, one of which was in critical condition. A third victim later arrived at the hospital.

Suspects and many witnesses had fled the scene when officers arrived.

The two surviving victims are being interviewed by homicide detectives as part of an ongoing investigation.
