Nuisance Bear Captured In Lake Tahoe
LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) - A bear causing concerns in the Tahoe area has been captured despite attempts from some residents to prevent it.
The Nevada Department of Wildlife trapped the bear that damaged cars and a home.
The 250 pound male bear which was caught Wednesday night will not be put down.
It will be released today at an undisclosed location.
CBS13 reported on Tuesday that supporters of the bear had attempted to prevent his capture by poured Pine Sol near the trap to warn off the bear.
