SACRAMENTO – Authorities say they have arrested the suspect wanted in connection to the case where a woman was found dead in a North Sacramento apartment.

The discovery was made back on Feb. 25 at the Mosaic Garden at Taylor Terrace Apartments along Taylor Street.

Sacramento police said the body of a 20-year-old woman was found in an apartment.

As investigators later revealed, the woman – identified by the Sacramento County Coroner's Office as Lashae Mary Harmon – had been shot at least once.

Detectives identified the suspect as 29-year-old Cotrino McLin.

On Wednesday, Sacramento police announced that McLin had been arrested the day before in Woodland.

McLin has been booked into Sacramento County Jail and is facing homicide-related charges.
