Mayor Johnson Calls Free Rent For Restaurant 'Disappointing'
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Responding to a CBS13 report on Monday detailing how a now-closed downtown restaurant, Fog Mountain Cafe, is being forgiven thousands of dollars in back rent in a proposal by city officials, Mayor Kevin Johnson called it "disappointing" and an example of how the public can come to distrust in local government.
The proposal is being considered by the City Council at its Tuesday night meeting.
