Man Tied To Sacramento, 2 Other Killings Found Dead

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say an 18-year old Oakland man who was wanted in three separate killings in three Northern California cities was found dead in a motel room after a stand-off with police.

Oakland police say the man likely fatally shot himself early Friday. His name was not released. No one else was injured.

Police on scene in East Oakland about 3 a.m. Friday heard multiple gunshots from a motel room before going inside to find the suspect dead. Police say that no officers discharged their firearms.

Police say the man and another person are suspected in the killing of a man in nearby Livermore last month.

The man was also wanted for homicides and Fresno and Sacramento.
