Man, 56, Trapped By Rising Waters Rescued By Sacramento Fire Crews
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Crews have rescued a man trapped by rising waters along the American River Monday morning.
The scene is near Garden Highway and Northgate Boulevard.
Sacramento Fire says passersby saw a man yelling for help by the water. The citizens called 911 for help.
Crews got to the scene and rescued the man, who was trapped on an island.
The 56-year-old man was tended to by medics before being transported to the hospital for evaluation.
