Man, 26, Fatally Shot In Rio Linda
RIO LINDA (CBS13) - Detectives are investigating a homicide in Rio Linda that happened Sunday night.
A man, now identified as 26-year-old Raymond Velasquez, was shot near Rio Linda Junior High School around 10 p.m. When deputies got to the scene, someone had already driven Velasquez to the hospital.
Velasquez later died.
Witnesses say they heard several gunshots and saw a vehicle speeding away.
No information has been released about a suspect's description or a possible motive.
