Large Fire Burning At Lathrop Woodchip Recycling Plant
LATHROP (CBS13) - A massive fire is burning at a recycling plant in Lathrop and could burn for days.
The plant is on Frewert Road just west of Interstate 5.
Flames can be seen five miles away.
The plant is where wood or wood chips are recycled, and that's what's believed to be on fire right now.
About one-hundred yards of debris is on fire.
No injuries have been reported.
Fire fighters are on the scene to keep the fire from spreading.
