Jackknifed Big Rig Blocking Lanes On I-5 In Elk Grove
ELK GROVE (CBS13) - Traffic on northbound Interstate 5 in Elk Grove was backed up for several miles Tuesday morning after a jackknifed big rig crashed and blocked the far left lane.
At 6:20 a.m. the truck hit the center divide near Laguna Boulevard causing its hood to be sheared off and the vehicle and trailer to jackknife, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There are reports the big rig driver was injured in the crash. The extent of his injuries is not known.
