Funeral Fundraiser Held For Slain Sacramento Man

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A group of concerned family members, neighbors and friends held a barbecue fundraiser today for a man killed last week.

Twenty-seven-year-old Justin Oliphant was gunned down near Auburn Boulevard last week. The barbecue was set to raise enough funds to pay for his funeral, while also raising awareness about his case that has now gone cold.

"To not know who killed your child and why they killed your child and for them to be running around here like everything is OK. It's not OK," said Danielle Callahan, Justin's mother.
