SACRAMENTO (CBS13) --  Firefighters were able to get a handle on a house fire off Geneva Place in the Alta -Arden area, according to Sacramento Metro Fire Department.

According to fire officials, the fire started in a bedroom above the garage when a candle was left unattended.

Officials say that a firefighter was injured when responding to the blaze when he fell down some stairs at the residence. He is said to have suffered minor injuries.

All residents were evacuated from the home, and no one suffered any injuries.
