Fire Station Temporarily Closed In Rancho Cordova
RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) -- Sacramento County will temporarily close a firehouse after it made deep cuts to close their budget gap.
Sacramento Metro Fire put station 68 on Anatolia drive in Rancho Cordova on a brown out.
Firefighters say the closure will increase their response time from 5 minutes to 6.5 minutes.
The department will also take out an engine company in the Arden Arcade area.
