Divers Will Seek 4th Body From Boat That Capsized Off California Coast

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) — Divers will search Monday for a fourth person believed killed when a boat capsized in the ocean off Southern California.

Coast Guard Petty Officer Adam Eggers says a dive team from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department will search the waters off Santa Cruz Island on Monday.

That's where three bodies were recovered and a fourth was spotted by air Sunday but couldn't be found by an arriving Coast Guard vessel. The names of the dead haven't been released.

Authorities say the 24-foot private boat left Channel Islands Harbor in Ventura County on Saturday for a daylong fishing trip. Searchers were called in Sunday morning when the boaters failed to return.
