Crash in El Dorado County closes Highway 50 near Riverton
A crash caused a temporary shutdown of Highway 50 Saturday in El Dorado County, the California Highway Patrol said.
The roadway was closed to all traffic at Ice House Road, near Riverton. The CHP said the crash involved a commercial vehicle, which caused a hazmat incident.
Highway 50 is expected to reopen around 11:30 a.m.
