Cooler Temperatures Ahead For Father's Day
Saturday was a quiet day with about normal temperatures and slightly breezy conditions.
Sunday is looking like it will be a great day as well. Dads and their families can expect valley temperatures to hover in the upper 80s and low 90s for Father's Day.
Mountain and foothill temperatures will range from the low 70s to the upper 80s Sunday. Wind will be blowing at around 10 to 15 miles per hour in the valley, with stronger gusts expected closer to the coast.
On Tuesday, expect temperatures to drop as a storm system approaches the coast. Highs will fall to the low 80s in Sacramento with breezy conditions increasing.
Unfortunately, this system is moisture-starved and will only bring the chance of rain to our northern counties near the California border.
After a brief cooling, temperatures will creep back up to the low 90s by next weekend.
