Collision Snarls Traffic On I-80 In Roseville
ROSEVILLE, Calif. (CBS13) -- A major collision briefly stopped traffic on eastbound Interstate 80 in Roseville and is continuing to affect traffic, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert after a car apparently struck a pedestrian near Taylor Road just after 8:15 p.m.
All lanes were closed near Eureka Road during the initial stages of the emergency response, backing up traffic into Citrus Heights.
The right lanes remain closed and traffic is extremely slow.
The condition and identity of the victim have not yet been released.
